After not playing EQ in something like 7 years, I was directed to your webpage by a friend from my old WOW guild.

Not sure how many of you would remember me, but I played a DE mage named Caud on VZ, and a Wood Elf Bard named Cingin. I was in a small guild, Twelve Prophets for a while, before switching to my bard and joining Defiant after 12p quit.

Did you guys all move to EQ2 when it came out? Was there any other game between EQ1 and EQ2 you tried out? How many of you are going to AoC? All of you, or just a portion of the current guild?



PS - Apparently, Da'Bashin Iggles are reforming as well for AoC.

The current Xanit K'Ven is more of a VZ community guild + a lot of people we picked up in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. We have members from the old eq XK, defiant, torrent, aduentus, ddw, zephyros etc.

A lot of us hit up WoW, EQ2, Vanguard, Guild Wars, but did it with different people.

We only just finished with Vanguard and are now moving to Age of Conan.

I remember Caud. That is a name I have not heard in years! You were part of the Twelve Prophets back when VZ was at its best. Allan ran Twelve Prophets, Cuch ran Defiant and Jhihad and I ran XK. Nothing will ever match those days.

The name rings a bell, but with how much time has passed and all the people I have come across in MMO's, I can't remember many details. Lords of Hosts rings a bell as a human team though, but I could be totally wrong.

The best way to maintain an advantage on a PvP server is to level faster than others, that is what I did in WoW too Falkonn. Of course, in this game, I won't have near the time to stay above the leveling curve, so I plan on getting stomped many times.

I just quit Wow like 3 weeks ago. You are probably thinking of Sephieroth, the other DA hunter. WoW was fun, for a long time. But it just seems like every instance is the same shit I did in MC. Learn a strat from a webpage, then wait for all 40 people to not make simple mistakes.
