Heh, just read the Sartok forums for kicks to see whats going on.. makes me sad I can't post without being subscrubbed to an SOE game.. I would seriously have fun with this, go for the perma ban!

That was pretty nuts. I got one account banned for a day and another for a week just for logging in from the same IP. Something is up for sure. I've said way worse things before and never even got a warning.

Coliseum of Games

A grand coliseum has appeared over Tehatamani coast and only those wanting to prove their worth need apply. The members of Kamelott Inc. and a new group of goblins known as the Finch’s Finks have opened up shop and are offering various prizes for those who compete.


A FFA PVP arena on all servers.
Gain infamy, challenge the arena combatant, and gain the keys to the chest all while watching your back and keeping other players from killing you before you can kill it.

Trade in infamy for chests and unlock them for various prizes including socketed items and enchantments you can only get in the arena.

I think it's pretty F'd that PVE gets a form of PVP while PVP people get crap; and, that the context in which he describes this new addition is all relative to PVE servers.

So THAT'S why they got out the banhammer on the Sarok boards! They wanted an extra day to get ready for our whining!

Nah, hopefully they'll just let us spend our world PvP infamy in the same fashion. I think this might be a step in the right direction. (or the wrong one, if they plan on merging us into Xeth or some bullshit).

So when they finally do recognize pvp.. it's just to hand it over to the pve players?

Well maybe when they go to their arena and see the issues with pvp we've been stating for the last 2 years soe will finally fix something. That's about the only good I see coming from this.

I don't know. I can't help but feel sad and let down by it. Like when you apply for a position internally and then you find out they hired from the outside. I feel kind of cheated.

If they offer a /transfer - will you guys go?
