id hardly call darkfall a failure seeing how people are still lining up to get accounts when they offer them ~ ~

its kinda like cartmans tactic in the episode where he gets the theme park and doesn't let anyone in at first =P pretty smart !

and personally this makes me want to check it out more , i like mmos that target a specfic genre and have a smaller population rather than an mmo like WoW where a 12 year old can play and change raid bosses constantly making them easier to appease the n00bs /shrug

i laugh at people who think that because an mmo doesn't have 12 million subs its a failure.. id much rather see a population of about 200,000 or so

I do like what the poster has to say there and I think it's a business strategy that could be very successful for them if they make a good game.

I also have to agree with Naediian in regards to Darkfall. I think it's entirely too early to call it a failure. I personally prefer the launch that they have had to some of the spectacular failures other games have had in the past.
