I got a promotion at work and moved from a customer site to a corporate office complete with a not so attractive assistant. So I can now come read the Xanit board which was previously blocked.

I pretty much swore off all types of PvE gaming. I'm not 23 anymore and don't like spending all that time on a game if I'm not killing other people.

Right now playing WoW for I think the 3rd time, this time as a Priest. Doing only the Arena's and BGs. Moderately entertaining but still looking forward to some of the other games coming out. I tried Aion but that was a grind fest and I couldn't stomach it.

Who's all still around from the original EQ circa '98 days.. back when we met up in Dallas for that Fan Faire craziness. (First and last one btw)

I don't know what all the EQ OKC folks game names were but I'm still good friends with two of them... I want to say one played Deakion and to be honest I don't remember the other guys toons except that they were all manginas and he has played a mangina is about every game except WoW.... oh and of course still play games with 'Wrang'.

As for that Dallas trip I was a mess. I just remember binge drinking, talking about PvP and gimping around on my ankle I sprained about a week before hand. Oh and some dude named Tully who was so insanely full of shit I'm not sure if it was comical or sad.

They wouldn't of tossed us out of the hotel, we were buying booze and staying in rooms. But during my mid 20's that was pretty much the norm with me in terms of going to bars with my brother and getting loud and obnoxious. We don't do that anymore. Brother is married, works a tech job at a Casino and I think stays home and plays horrible SOE games.

I'm married with 3 kids and have to act all professional. Zero of my current coworkers play video games. I even have a Facebook account! I'm all kinds of grown up... oh but I still like typing absolutely absurd shit in video games just to get a rise out of people.
