I am not a fan of futuristic MMORPG's. I have tried most of them, and I just don't like the feel of them compared to a nice Midievel Fantasy type game. Give me bows and spells over guns and grenades.

I feel the exact same, but it would nice for a pvp game that has meaning for an entire realm.

I know a few people in the D3 beta. None of them have good things to say about the game. I could be wrong, I didnt like d1 or d2. Left click till it dies, YEAH! Check out Kingdom of Amular. Written by RA Salvator, art by the guy who did Spawn and devolped by the lead designer of morrowind and oblivion. I have played about 6 hours, and it is a lot of fun. Like what the game fable should have been like. Also, who is exciterd for tera? That game looks so bad. Its a blatent ripoff of aion (they are in a lawsuit now because of it) Another Korean grindfest bleeeeeh. Sorry I xodroc ed your year of gaming. :)

D3 pushed back to Q2 now, I'm in beta, played one character and got bored.

I have a feeling people who are putting their eggs in the D3 basket will be disappointed. Dunno how many of you played D2 but it kind'a got repetitive really quick. Once again I think I'm gunna hold off on any new MMO because I've realized they're either cloning WOW or under-developed...so why not play the real thing? haha

The only game on that list of real interest is Mass Effect 3.. Which I'm considering not getting since the PC version requires EA:Origin to be installed. Guild Wars 2 is going to be FreeToPlay at least, sort of.

I'm not sure, when it comes to big titles (SC2, Diablo 3) Blizzard does a pretty damn good job on em. Plus, they have D2 to look back on and fix their previous mistakes so some of the stupid shit that went on in D2 doesn't happen in D3.

Diablo 3 will have a built in auction system for items using real world money. That pretty much tells me all I need to know about their design philosophy, mind numbing pointless loot grinds. I enjoyed Diablo back in the day, back when it was a new concept and I was younger. Today? yawn.

GW2 is starting to interest me, the PVP alone looks to be a lot of fun.
